Protein shakes that don't make you queasy?

Since starting 10mg, most shakes with that thick artificial sweetness make my stomach turn, and I am guessing the whey ones are the worst offenders for me. Has anyone found a protein shake that goes down easy, maybe something lighter or unflavored you can mix yourself? I would love to hear what actually works for queasy stomachs.

Unflavored whey stirred into miso soup has been my go-to on queasy days, tastes like nothing but the soup. Clear whey works for me too, but savory mixes surprise people and might be worth a shot at 10mg.

Clear whey in water works for me too, it tastes more like a light drink than a meal. I also rotate in chicken broth with a scoop of unflavored protein on days my stomach is picky. Bone broth counts if the numbers fit, and it goes down easy for me.

Clear whey isolate mixed in water was a game changer for me, way lighter than the creamy stuff. I also do unflavored collagen in broth or tea when I want zero sweetness. Since upping my dose even plain Greek yogurt thinned with water sits better than any shake.

Clear whey in water was the only thing I could stomach early on too, it drinks like flavored water instead of a shake. I also got hooked on stirring unflavored protein into tomato soup, savory stuff just sits better for me than anything sweet. Down 80-some lbs and honestly barely touched a creamy shake the whole way.

Savory really is the trick, I had the same realization around where you are now. I stir unflavored collagen into beef broth when shakes feel like too much, and clear whey in cold water is my only sweet option that never turns my stomach. Down 56 lbs and I have basically given up on creamy stuff entirely.

The savory thing checks out for me too, though I only figured it out recently after a few creamy shakes nearly came back up. Unflavored protein in chicken broth has been my safe option, and thinning anything with extra water helps when my stomach is touchy. Only 9 lbs in so far but at least I'm not fighting the shakes anymore.

Clear whey in cold water was my turning point too, it finally stopped feeling like a chore to drink. I also mix unflavored protein into miso soup when I want something warm, savory goes down way easier for me than anything thick and sweet.

Unflavored in broth was going to be my suggestion too, it got me through the rough weeks on 5mg. Clear whey mixed into diluted juice or cold water is the only sweet thing I can handle, the thickness is what does me in more than the sweetness.

Clear whey in cold water was a game changer for me too, the juice-like texture is so much easier than the creamy stuff. I also do unflavored stirred into thin soups when sweet drinks sound gross, savory goes down way smoother for me.

The unflavored-in-broth trick works for me too, especially on days when my stomach is touchy after taking my shot. I also stir it into thin tomato soup, the light consistency goes down way easier than anything creamy. Clear whey in ice water is my backup when I want something sweet.

The savory angle is underrated, unflavored in a thin miso soup is what kept my protein up during the worst queasy stretch of my loss. Cold clear whey tastes closer to flavored water to me than a shake, which is exactly why it works when creamy stuff is a no-go.

Clear whey in cold water is the only thing I kept down during my roughest stretch too, somewhere around the 30 lb mark when everything creamy felt like glue. Worth adding that letting it sit a few minutes after mixing helped mine, less foam seemed to settle my stomach better.

Sipping it slowly over ice instead of chugging made a difference for me too, same idea as letting the foam settle. I also found unflavored in bone broth worked on days when even cold sweet stuff felt like too much.

Clear whey was my rescue too, around the 20 lb mark when even light shakes felt heavy. I mix mine the night before so the foam is long gone by morning, and sipping it cold over a couple hours works way better than drinking it all at once. Unflavored in broth is a good trick for the days when sweet is just off the table.

Only about 13 lbs in myself, but I hit the same wall with creamy shakes fast. Unflavored whey stirred into warm broth with a squeeze of lemon was what saved me, and I only ever drink it cold and slow now, never all at once.

Clear whey was the only thing I could keep down around the 30 lb mark on Zepbound, the juice-like texture went down way easier than creamy stuff. I mix mine a few hours ahead and sip it over ice all morning, which keeps the foam and the queasiness down. Unflavored in broth is my backup when even that sounds like too much.

Creamy shakes were dead to me too once I got past the first couple months, but clear whey mixed into cold water with a splash of lemon basically tastes like sports drink and sits fine. I also keep unflavored on hand for stirring into soup when even that is too much. Sipping slow is half the battle for me.

Clear whey over ice was my turning point too, somewhere around the 50 lb mark it became the only protein I actually looked forward to. Unflavored stirred into miso soup is my trick on the rough days, the saltiness seems to calm my stomach more than anything sweet ever did.

Same thing happened to me somewhere in the 30s loss-wise, creamy whey just stopped sitting right. I ended up doing unflavored whey in diluted juice or cold herbal tea, and letting it sit overnight in the fridge helps the chalky taste disappear. On the worst days I skip shakes entirely and just get protein from a soft boiled egg or some yogurt, no shame in that.
