Welcome out of lurk mode, fellow first-monther (well, former one). A month in was when I started noticing the food noise quieting down, which was the weirdest and best part for me. Stick around, the threads here helped me shed 64 lbs so far.

Fellow lurker-turned-poster here, welcome. Those first few weeks were the roughest for me too, and reading everyone's posts made the appetite quieting way less weird. Down 12 lbs since starting and it's nice finally saying that out loud.

Welcome aboard, glad the lurking finally turned into posting. The first month really does feel less lonely when you can actually reply to people. Down 41 lbs here myself and threads like this one are still half the reason I keep showing up.

Welcome to posting after so long reading. Lurkers are the backbone of these forums, ha. That first month is rough and doing it solo before even joining says a lot about your grit.

#7

Glad you stopped lurking, the reading-only phase really does prep you well. I was the same before my first post and the food noise threads alone were worth it. Almost a stone down here since starting, so it's good company you're in.

Welcome to posting, the lurker-to-member leap is real. I was reading here for months before my first comment and nobody bit my head off, for what it's worth. Congrats on getting through month one, that was the roughest stretch for me too.

Welcome from lurker to poster, the first month is rough and glad the forum helped. I was the same way reading everything before I ever commented, and I'm down around 50 lbs now largely from what I picked up here. Hope you keep sharing how it goes.

Lurker to poster, that first month is the hardest stretch so good on you for getting through it. Fellow lurker-turned-member here and posting regularly made things feel way less lonely. Say hi from Scotland next time you hit a rough patch, this crowd always comes through.

Hello from across the water, nice to see a fellow UK-ish member here. I'm about 32 lbs into this myself and the reading-everything-before-posting approach you had clearly works, it did for me too. Stick around now that you're official.

Welcome out of lurk mode! I also read for ages before posting, and honestly the threads here helped me more than anything my GP said. Down about 28 lbs since starting, mostly from tips I picked up just reading along.

Lurking for a month before posting is basically the traditional initiation here, so you're ahead of the game. Glad the threads helped you through the start, and welcome in from across the pond.

Lurking that long before posting is basically a rite of passage here, I did the same. First month on 2mg was when things really started clicking for me too. The folks in this section are good people, you'll fit right in.

Welcome to posting, lurkers keep this place running too. I spent months reading before my first comment, and honestly that first month on the meds is the roughest stretch. Congrats on getting through it.

Welcome to posting after lurking! The first month is the hardest stretch in my experience, so glad the forum helped you through it. What are you taking and how's it going so far?

Hello from the other side of the pond! I lurked for a good while before posting too, and actually joining made a bigger difference than I expected. Congrats on getting through month one, that first stretch is the trickiest.

#18

Welcome from lurker to poster, that first comment always takes courage. I lurked for ages too and posting made the whole journey easier. Down over 70 lbs myself now, so I can vouch it's worth sticking around here.

Welcome out of lurker mode! Congrats on getting through that first month, the early weeks were the roughest part for me too. Not sure about the person above, but gentle walks made a big difference for me around the 20 lb mark.
