Sourcing & Trust Rules

How our community vendor-review and trust-tier system works — and what it is not.

What this area is

The Vendor Directory is a member-driven record of experiences. When members discuss vendors elsewhere in the community, those vendors can be tracked here so that other members' first-hand reviews live in one place. The goal is harm reduction and transparency: surfacing real experiences — good and bad — so people can make more informed decisions and avoid known scams.

It is not a storefront, a marketplace, or a referral service. The forum does not sell, source, broker, price, or facilitate the purchase of any product. We host no transactions and take no cut of any.

The rules

  • No buying or selling on-site. Do not offer products for sale, solicit purchases, post sourcing instructions, share order links, or arrange transactions anywhere on the forum. Reviews describe past experiences; they are not advertisements or how-to guides.
  • Reviews are experiences, not endorsements. A review reflects one member's personal experience. It is not a recommendation from the forum, not a guarantee of quality or safety, and not medical advice. Read several reviews and weigh them with your own judgment.
  • Be honest and specific. Describe what actually happened. Don't inflate, don't astroturf, and don't review a vendor you have a financial relationship with.
  • Scam-report carve-out. Reporting non-delivery, suspected fraud, or a safety problem is always allowed and encouraged, even for a vendor you never want named. Use the "scam / safety report" flag so the warning is visible to everyone. Repeated credible reports can get a vendor flagged or blacklisted.
  • Safety comes first. If something is unsafe, say so plainly. Nothing here overrides the advice of a licensed prescriber or pharmacist.

The trust-tier system

To keep reviews tied to established members and make astroturfing harder, the ability to post a review is gated by a simple trust tier based on post count and account age. Your tier shows as a badge next to your reviews so readers can weigh them appropriately.

TierRequirementCan post reviews?
New Member Fewer than 5 posts, or account younger than 7 days No — read only
Member 5+ posts and account at least 7 days old Yes
Trusted Member 30+ posts and account at least 30 days old Yes — carries extra weight
Staff Moderators and admins Yes

Vendor listings carry a status too: listed (tracked, no community verdict), flagged (concerns reported — read carefully), or blacklisted (serious or repeated problems — avoid).

A note on research compounds & compounded medications

Many vendors discussed here deal in compounded or research compounds. These are not FDA-approved, are not reviewed for safety, purity, or potency the way finished medications are, and may carry legal risk depending on where you live. Quality varies widely between suppliers. The existence of a listing or review here is not a signal that anything is safe or legal — it is only a record of what members reported. Always involve a licensed prescriber in any decision about your treatment.
