Hello from the tortoise! Our members come from all over the world, and everyone is welcome here, whatever language you speak and wherever you live. Start low, go slow, and take your time looking around.

How to read and post

  • Language. Use the language switcher in the top bar or the footer to see menus and guides in English, Spanish, German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian or Greek.
  • Posts stay in their author's language. Members write in whatever language they are comfortable with, and we never change what they wrote. You are welcome to post in your own language too.
  • Reading other languages. Every post has a Translate button that shows it in your language. Automatic translations can be imperfect, so keep the original in mind if something looks odd.
  • Country flag. In your profile you can add your country, which appears as a small flag next to your username. It is optional, and you can hide it again at any time by unticking the box in your profile settings.
  • Kilograms or pounds. Choose kg or lb in your profile and every weight on the forum will show in your unit.
  • Your time zone. Dates and times are shown in your own time zone, so there is no conversion to do.
