Does anyone else stay at 0.5mg longer than the standard schedule?

I sat at that same low dose way longer than the schedule said because it kept working. Down 38 lbs and only moved up once progress genuinely stalled for weeks. If your spot is still giving results, I see no rush.

Stayed on my low dose for months myself and dropped 18 lbs before ever feeling the need to move. If suppression is holding and no side effects, staying put seems like the easy call. The pen will still be there when progress actually stalls.

The schedule is just a suggestion, not a deadline. I sat at my lowest tirzepatide dose way longer than the sheet said because it kept working, and I'm down 62 lbs without ever feeling pressure to climb. If the food noise stays quiet where you are, there's no reason to chase a number.

I sat at 0.5 for almost four months because the appetite quieting was doing its job and upping it just made food noise return differently, not better. Ended up losing most of my 40-some lbs on that dose before I ever felt a reason to move. No rush if it's working.

No rush here either - I sat at that level for months because the suppression was still doing its job, and ended up down over 60 lbs without ever hurrying the ladder. If you're losing and tolerating it well, staying put seems like a fine call in my experience.

Same boat, I've only just bumped from 0.25 to 0.5 after months because the appetite quieting was still there. Down 29 lbs so far and honestly the slower climb has meant zero rough side effects for me. If it's still working, why mess with it.

Oral kid here and I did the same thing - hovered at 7mg way past the "move up by now" point because it was still doing its job, and only now thinking about 14 with about 9 lbs gone. Slower clearly works for you folks at 45 and 29 down, so that settles it for me.

Staying put until it stops working has been my playbook too - I lingered on my first step far longer than the plan suggested and I'm down 45 lbs without ever rushing the ladder. Progress stalling for a few straight weeks is the only thing that would make me consider moving up. No point trading good control for side effects just to check a box.

Same approach here - I camped on my low step for a long stretch and it carried me most of the way to 58 down. Still not at the top dose and honestly haven't missed it. If appetite control is steady, why poke the bear.

I sat on 10 of my Mounjaro pen steps for months before creeping to 12.5, and that patience is basically why I'm 17 down without any rough weeks. If the appetite quiet stays quiet, there's zero reason to climb.

Stayed parked at my low dose through most of my 18 lb drop and never felt rushed to climb. The only thing I noticed was some sluggishness the day after injecting, so I started doing mine at night and that helped. If appetite is quiet where you are, I'd ride it out too.

Lost my 30 lbs mostly while parked on a lower dose than the schedule suggested, only moved up when the food noise started creeping back. No rush is the right call if it's still working.

I've lingered on my step too, down 13 lbs without ever feeling the need to rush. Higher doses just made me miserable when I tried climbing faster early on, so patience has been the win for me. If food noise is manageable where you are, sounds like you already answered your own question.

I sat at 0.5 for months and it handled the food noise fine the whole time. Ended up down 36 lbs before I ever felt the pull to go up. If it's still doing the job, the schedule is just a suggestion as far as I'm concerned.
