Maintenance dose of tirzepatide - what are you holding at?

Trying to decide whether to bump my tirzepatide dose or ride out this plateau. I've been at 12.5mg for a while now. How did you know it was time?

Just wanted to say, Six months in and down 41 lbs total. Has your sleep changed at all since starting. Hit goal weight this morning, still in shock.

Reading this and Talk to your prescriber before changing anything, but slow worked for me. Clothes are loose enough that I need a smaller size. Rooting for you.

Totally agree. Are you tracking protein or just eating intuitively. Finally cracked a plateau I'd been stuck on for a month. Bone broth and electrolytes got me through the tough days. Hang in there. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Same here, You should be really proud. Honestly by month three the side effects basically disappeared. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Totally agree. My doctor had me hold until side effects settled. Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Rooting for you.

Totally agree. Look how far you've come. How long did the food noise take to quiet down. Did you split your dose or take it all at once. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Everyone titrates differently, listen to your own body. Fatigue hit hard on my first dose bump, more protein fixed it. The week-1 nausea was rough but it really does ease up.

Six months in and down 41 lbs total. I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call.

Same here, Down another 1.8 lbs this week and holding steady. Going slow on titration made all the difference for side effects. This community is the best. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
