This community saved my first month on medication. I came here when I was ready to quit at week 3 and people here convinced me to push through. It's now month 5 and I'm down 38 lbs. Thank you all.

Adding my two cents: I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. I split my routine around the shot day now and it helps. Everyone's different of course.

Following along — How long did the food noise take to quiet down. Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Found my sweet spot dose and I'm not in a hurry to go higher. Rooting for you. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

The compounding question comes up a lot here. My take after 8 months: the quality varies enormously. The COA is your friend — if a vendor won't provide a third-party tested certificate of analysis, that's a red flag. I've had good results with a local 503B pharmacy that does quarterly testing.

Walking 8k steps a day alongside the meds really compounds. Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. Meal-prepping kept me from grazing on bad days. So glad I'm not alone in this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Starting the weight-loss log here because I need accountability. Starting weight: 278 lbs. Goal: 195 lbs. Week 1 on 0.25mg semaglutide. No real side effects yet, just a slightly off stomach on injection day. Will update every Monday.
