Does anyone else stay at 0.5mg longer than the standard schedule?

My doc kept me at 0.5mg for almost 3 months because I was losing well and tolerating it fine. I pushed back a bit because I'd read about faster titration schedules, but looking back I'm glad she slowed it down. Zero serious side effects the whole time. Anyone else had a similar experience with a conservative titration?

Coming back to this thread — Rooting for you. My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. You're not alone in this, so many of us have been there. Keep us posted! Everyone's different of course.

You're not alone in this, so many of us have been there. Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. A1C came back normal at my last check-up. So glad I'm not alone in this.

The mental side is harder than people admit. Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. Lost 8 lbs my first month and the food noise is gone. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

The jump to the next dose was smoother than I feared. Clothes are loose enough that I need a smaller size. Consistency with my injection day mattered more than the exact dose. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Honestly, Clothes are loose enough that I need a smaller size. Six months in and the scale keeps moving the right way. You've got this. Keep us posted! (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Following along — Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. Ugh I felt exactly the same way at that stage. Rooting for you.
