I've been lurking for months and finally decided to post. Six months in on semaglutide, down 40 lbs, and I finally feel like I have something worth sharing. Ask me anything — happy to help.

Coming back to this thread, I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. Rooting for you. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

For the nausea: small meals, no greasy food, ginger tea, and Zofran if your doctor will prescribe it. The first 4-6 weeks are the hardest. Everything gets better after that point in almost every case I've seen in this forum.

Late to this but Lost 8 lbs my first month and the food noise is gone. This made my day to read. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

My titration schedule ended up being much slower than the official guide. 0.25mg for 8 weeks, then 0.5mg for 8 more weeks. My doctor is conservative but the results have been steady and the side effects manageable. There's no prize for going faster.

For what it's worth, I split my routine around the shot day now and it helps. I split my routine around the shot day now and it helps. You've got this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.
