My cat has decided 5am is breakfast time now, no exceptions. Down 32 lbs on Victoza but she acts like she's starving. This thread is a nice breather between dose days.

My cat has decided 6am is breakfast time no matter what, so my days start early whether I like it or not. Cold up here in St. Paul lately, she refuses to go outside and just yells at the door. Down 56 lbs so the walks are way easier on my knees now, small wins.

Ha, the early breakfast demands seem to be a universal cat thing, mine starts pawing my face around 5:30. Congrats on the 32 lbs, the Victoza journey is real. Nice to have a thread like this to scroll during the slow weeks.

My dog has learned that my slower meals mean more dropped scraps, so he hovers extra these days. Six pounds down and he's the only one celebrating with me at that pace, ha. Keep the pet pics coming, this thread is a nice palate cleanser.

My cat has zero interest in scraps but now yells at me if dinner takes longer than five minutes, so we're both adjusting to the slower eating thing. Down 19 lbs on Rybelsus and honestly the pet pics are the best part of my scrolling lately. Spokane grey skies outside but this thread brightened the day.

I've dropped 9 lbs myself and my cat could not care less, she just wants the 5am kibble run to stay on schedule. My side effect so far is basically just eating like a slow person, which my dog appreciates. Love that this thread exists for the off-topic stuff.

How are you finding the higher dose so far? Adding my recommendation below, great question.

My golden retriever has decided the slower meals are a gift and now naps at my feet like I might drop a whole chicken. Down 38 and the only one impressed is me, the pets are completely unmoved. Keep the pet pics coming, they're carrying my week.

My old lab mutt has definitely noticed the extra walks now that I'm almost a year in and 48 lbs lighter - he acts like he's training for a marathon some days. These pet pics really are the good stuff, way better than gray skies out my window too.

Keep going, seriously. How's your energy been lately.

My cat could not care less about the 36 lbs gone, she just likes that I sit still longer now. Energy's been solid on my end, especially on the longer dog walks. These threads are the best part of the forum honestly.

My beagle is the only one in the house who noticed the 58 lbs gone, mostly because our Richmond neighborhood loops got way longer once the Wegovy appetite noise quieted down. Cats definitely win the sitting-still category though, mine parks on me the second I stop moving.

My dog has definitely noticed the 33 lbs too, we're doing hill routes now that used to wipe me out at half the distance. The cat's the same though, still acts like none of it happened unless I sit down, then suddenly I'm furniture.

32 down here and my golden retriever is basically my shadow now, the walks went from a chore to the best part of my day. The cat still hasn't acknowledged any of it, but she does claim my lap the second I'm on the couch, so apparently I'm a better perch these days.

45 lbs in and my mutt has turned into a drill sergeant about the morning walk, she's at the door before I'm even fully awake now. Weird how the dogs track all the progress while the cats act like we still owe them rent.

Down 41 myself and my lab has started pacing by the leash at 6am sharp like she's got a calendar. Meanwhile my cat only moved closer now that naps are softer to lie on. Dogs celebrate, cats just renegotiate terms.

My beagle figured out the routine too, stands by the door at the same time every evening like she's got a watch. Down 27 myself and honestly she's the only one who's been consistent about it. The cat just got harder to pick up, which I guess counts as progress on both ends.
