Down over 50 here and ditto on the boring stuff -- protein and evening walks carried me further than anything I bought a bottle of. Aging still wins some days, but my knees stopped complaining on stairs, which I'll take.
Sayin hello
Welcome aboard. I'm only a couple months in with single-digit losses so far, but the protein-first habit is already the one thing keeping me steady, so good to hear it holds up long term. Stairs without knee complaints sounds like a win worth chasing.
Down about the same amount myself, and yeah the knees on stairs thing was my first sign things were working too. Phoenix summers make the after-dinner walk a treadmill thing for me, but it still counts. Aging may suck but moving like this at my age beats how I felt a year ago.
Ten months in on Rybelsus myself and down a dozen or so, so I'm where you were around the start. The humidity here makes the evening walk feel like a swamp, but the protein-first habit is already paying off for me too. Curious what additions to the routine you end up trying.
