I am 69 and now heading for my third month on Zepbound. It’s been a journey so far. After about the third week I was ready to throw in the towel. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so consistently lousy in my life. The only thing that kept me going was that I was really loosing weight. 16 pounds so far which is downright miraculous for me. Nothing I’ve tried in recent years has worked until this. I will say that by week six I started feeling good again. I’m a bit concerned now because hunger is back. Haven’t felt that since starting. And the weight loss has stalled. Up to 7.5 next week and I’m hopeful. Also going for my six month checkup next week with lab work. Hopefully that shows improvement. I use a CGM off and on and that definitely shows improvement in the short term. My A1C was my single biggest push for this. Constipation aside I’m very happy with it.

The rough patch around weeks 3-5 sounds familiar, mine eased up around a similar point and I've kept going from there. Hunger creeping back and a stall happened to me too before my last move up, so hopefully the 7.5 does the same for you. Sixteen pounds at 69 with an A1C driving this is a great start.

Same deal here, hunger showed up for me around a stall too and moving up quieted it down again. Sounds like your timing before the 7.5 is right on cue. Hope the labs come back showing what your CGM already is.

The hunger-plus-stall combo hit me right before my last dose bump too and it settled back down after, so the 7.5 timing sounds right on track. Sixty-nine and sixteen pounds down with labs coming up — that's a solid third month. Hope the A1C number makes the rough start feel worth it.

That early lousy stretch is brutal and I remember wondering if it was worth it, but it faded for me too. Hunger coming back before a bump happened to me as well and the higher dose took the edge off again, so fingers crossed 7.5 does that for you. With 54 pounds gone now I can say the stalls never lasted as long as they felt like they would.

That hunger-before-a-bump pattern showed up for me on Wegovy too and each dose increase settled it back down, so 7.5 next week sounds well timed. Glad to hear the A1C is your main driver and that the CGM is already telling a good story. Sixteen pounds in three months after years of nothing working is real progress.

Sixteen pounds in three months after decades of nothing working is a great place to be at 69. I'm only a couple pounds in myself so your week-six turnaround gives me something to aim for. Hope the labs and the 7.5 both go your way next week.

The hunger sneaking back around month three happened to me too and the 7.5 jump quieted it down again, so the timing of yours sounds right. Those early weeks feeling awful are no joke, glad you pushed through. Hope the labs back up what your CGM has been showing.

Your week-six turnaround matches my timeline almost exactly, the lull before the bump is real. Hunger came creeping back for me right before my last step up too, and it settled again once I moved. Hope your labs and the 7.5 both land the way you want next week.

Same story here -- hunger showed up right before each of my step-ups and faded again after, so hopefully yours follows that pattern at 7.5. Stalls around the three-month mark were my norm too, then things picked back up. Be curious what the labs show since the CGM trends sound solid.

At 69 you're beating my pace by a mile, I'm only down 7 lbs and still slogging through the rough stretch. Good to see so many others saying the hunger and stall hit right before a step-up, that's easing my mind since my own appetite started waking up last week. Hope the A1C news makes the whole bumpy ride feel worth it.

The hunger-then-stall combo before a step-up was exactly my pattern too, and things picked back up a couple weeks after moving my dose. 16 pounds by month three at 69 is solid progress, so hang in there through the labs. I'll be curious if your A1C shows the same drop my last panel did.

That return of hunger right before a step-up matches what I hit around the same point, and things quieted down again after moving up. 16 pounds by month three is faster than my run, and I'm down 29 now, so the early rough patch fades into memory. Hope the labs come back with the A1C news you're after.

The return of hunger right before a step-up mirrors what I ran into on my first few months, and it eased off once the higher dose settled in. My early loss was slow going, about two pounds down so far, so seeing 16 by month three at 69 makes me feel like the slower lane still counts. Hope the labs back up what your CGM has been showing.
