I'm a nurse and I want to share a clinical perspective on the GI side effects. What's happening in your gut during the first few weeks is the medication slowing gastric emptying significantly. This is by design — it's the mechanism that creates satiety. The nausea is your body adjusting to this new normal. It gets better as your body adapts.

Honestly, How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. Has your sleep changed at all since starting. This community is the best.

Totally agree. How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. You're not alone in this, so many of us have been there. You've got this. Everyone's different of course.

Coming back to this thread — My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. Hang in there. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Coming back to this thread — Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Adding my two cents: Down 55 lbs over the last year on this journey. The mental side is harder than people admit. Ugh I felt exactly the same way at that stage. Hang in there. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. Thanks for sharing this.
