Starting my journey log here. Current weight: 247 lbs. Goal: 175 lbs. Starting Ozempic 0.25mg this week. I've tried everything else over the past decade and I'm finally taking this step. Going to document everything honestly — the good and the bad.

Totally agree. My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. Stay the course.

Honestly, Titrating slowly is so underrated, no rush to climb. How long did the food noise take to quiet down.

My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. Down 55 lbs over the last year on this journey.

Late to this but Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. Been there — it does get easier I promise.

Same here, Ugh I felt exactly the same way at that stage. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Adding my two cents: Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. Consistency with my injection day mattered more than the exact dose.

Totally agree. Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. Rooting for you.

Finally cracked a plateau I'd been stuck on for a month. Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. The mental side is harder than people admit. Onward! (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Don't weigh daily, the trend line is what matters. Sending good vibes your way. The mental side is harder than people admit. Thanks for sharing this.

Coming back to this thread, I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. Did you split your dose or take it all at once.

Same here — I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. Ugh I felt exactly the same way at that stage. Rooting for you.

Totally agree. Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Down another 1.8 lbs this week and holding steady. Found my sweet spot dose and I'm not in a hurry to go higher. Hang in there.

Popping in today to say, What helped you push through the plateau. So glad I'm not alone in this. Everyone's different of course.
