I'm a nurse and I want to share a clinical perspective on the GI side effects. What's happening in your gut during the first few weeks is the medication slowing gastric emptying significantly. This is by design — it's the mechanism that creates satiety. The nausea is your body adjusting to this new normal. It gets better as your body adapts.

Totally agree. I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. Onward! Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Same here, Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. How long did the food noise take to quiet down. Onward! (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
