The food noise got loud again today and it threw me. Sharing in case others feel the same mid-week on Ozempic.
Curious how others handle Wegovy on a busy day like today
The Wednesday food noise spike is real for me too, usually hits hardest the day or two before my shot. When it happens mid-chaos I just lean on sparkling water and keep my hands busy so I don't cave to whatever the craving is. Down 20 lbs at 1mg and it still sneaks back in sometimes, so you're not doing anything wrong.
The pre-shot days are when mine creeps back too, usually Wednesdays. I keep gum and a big bottle of water at my desk and remind myself it fades once I take the shot. Down about 21 lbs and it still catches me off guard sometimes, so no, you're not broken.
Only about 5 lbs in for me so the noise still mostly wins on days like that, but I've noticed a protein-heavy breakfast keeps it quieter for a few hours at least. Mid-week chaos plus pre-shot timing sounds like a rough combo, no wonder it threw you.
Went up too fast once and learned my lesson the hard way. Keep at it.
Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. Six weeks post-surgery-scare and the loss picked back up on its own.
On busy days, I usually take my Wegovy in the evening when I'm more relaxed. Sometimes I set a reminder to make sure I don't forget. It's helped me keep on track without stressing too much.
The loud brain days hit me too, usually when I'm slammed at work and skip actual meals. I stopped white-knuckling it and just keep something protein-heavy ready to grab, which took most of the drama out of it. Down 46 lbs and those days still show up, they just pass quicker now.
Same here, the loud brain days still show up for me even 43 lbs in, usually when work chaos means I haven't eaten real food. Keeping something protein-heavy within reach is what calms mine down too, way better than trying to out-willpower it.
