Three denied claims later, I finally got my Wegovy approved. Here's what changed in the third appeal: my doctor submitted a peer-to-peer review request AND cited the plan's own coverage policy language directly in the appeal. Insurance companies are betting you'll give up. Don't.

Honestly, Ginger tea and tiny meals saved me through the early weeks. This community is the best.

Coming back to this thread — Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. Been there — it does get easier I promise. Going slow on titration made all the difference for side effects.

What's your current titration schedule looking like. Are you tracking protein or just eating intuitively. Honestly by month three the side effects basically disappeared. You've got this.

For what it's worth, Has your sleep changed at all since starting. Are you tracking protein or just eating intuitively. Constipation was my big one — magnesium at night helped a ton. This community is the best.

Adding my two cents: The sulfur burps almost made me quit, slowing down eating helped. Cutting fatty meals the day of my shot helped the nausea. Thanks for sharing this.

The mental side is harder than people admit. The week-1 nausea was rough but it really does ease up.

For what it's worth, Don't give up — it's worth it. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Reading this today and Smaller portions on shot day kept the GI stuff manageable. Fatigue hit hard on my first dose bump, more protein fixed it. Keep us posted!
