Welcome! I was nervous about nausea my first week too, but eating small portions and keeping crackers nearby got me through fine. Down 9 lbs myself so far, so it's been worth it.

Took about a week before I noticed anything on my first month, so don't sweat the quiet start. I'm in OKC too and the appetite quieting down snuck up on me gradually rather than hitting all at once.

Congrats on starting! My appetite changes came on slow too, took over a week before I really noticed anything. Glad to see another Okie here, and down 27 lbs myself so far, so the quiet start can still turn into good results.

First dose nerves are normal, the queasy feeling mostly skipped me if I kept meals small and bland those first weeks. Took over a week before food noise dialed down for me too, so a quiet start means nothing bad. Welcome from another Okie.

Hello and congrats on getting started! I was nervous before my first tirzepatide shot too, but eating light that first week kept things calm for me. Down 39 lbs now, so those early jitters feel like a lifetime ago.

Welcome! First shot jitters are normal, I remember staring at the pen forever before mine. I stuck to toast and crackers that first day and felt fine, and 54 lbs later the nausea worries feel like a distant memory.

Quiting is not an option for me i asked the doctor if i could try glp 1 medication and he agreed.I put a lot of effort into this no more sodas i stay hydrated.I cut back on my food portions. And i eat eggs/fish/chicken and turkey also i eat whole grain bread.I cannot exercise much now because my prediabeties causes me to get dizzy or light headed and i cannot walk much like i use to.So iam frustrated.
