I'm a nurse and I want to share a clinical perspective on the GI side effects. What's happening in your gut during the first few weeks is the medication slowing gastric emptying significantly. This is by design — it's the mechanism that creates satiety. The nausea is your body adjusting to this new normal. It gets better as your body adapts.

Late to this but Sending solidarity, this part is genuinely hard. Lost 8 lbs my first month and the food noise is gone. So glad I'm not alone in this. Everyone's different of course.

Walking 8k steps a day alongside the meds really compounds. Clothes are loose enough that I need a smaller size. Did you split your dose or take it all at once. You've got this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Following along — Consistency with my injection day mattered more than the exact dose. Walking 8k steps a day alongside the meds really compounds. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
