Mid-journey motivation check-in

Down 62 myself and the afternoon slump hit me hardest too, so I feel that post about energy dips. A walk after dinner plus keeping my first meal protein-heavy is what got me through the worst of it. Hang in there if you're still in the stall, mine broke right around this weight.

Down 45 myself and the afternoon slump was brutal for me too until I made lunch my biggest protein meal. Small walks after dinner helped me get moving again as well. Week's going fine over here, just slow and steady.

Down 45 here and the afternoon slump never fully left for me either, but a protein-heavy lunch plus that after-dinner walk made a real difference. Weekly Friday weigh-ins kept me sane through two stalls that turned out to be nothing. The trend line really is the whole story.

Down 58ish and the energy dips stuck around for me too until I flipped my first meal to mostly protein. The stall talk hits home, mine broke a few weeks back after sitting at the same number for a month. Checking in on threads like this is half my motivation honestly.

Funny how many of us hit the same wall around this stretch. I'm sitting at 40 down and my dips eased up once I stopped skipping breakfast and front-loaded protein too. Threads like this are honestly what keep me checking in on rough weeks.

I'm at 36 down and scrolling this thread during my own sluggish afternoon, so the timing was perfect. My dips got way more manageable once I quit treating lunch as an afterthought and made it a real protein meal. Glad the check-in format is helping people through the rough stretches, it's doing its job on me today.

Only 8 down so far but reading you all talk about protein fixing the sluggish afternoons made me realize I've been basically skipping lunch. Going to try an actual real meal tomorrow and see if it helps on 2.4. Nice to see a thread where people just check in honestly.

87 down here and the afternoon slump still sneaks up on me when I let lunch slide, so no magic finish line on that front. Weeks like this one are exactly why I lurk these check-ins even when I have nothing profound to add.

Hitting 57 this month and the slump thing is still true for me too, though it got way milder once I stopped treating lunch as optional. That 87 down post is reassuring, thanks for sticking around even without anything profound to add.

Only a few pounds in myself but it's wild how consistent the lunch story is across this whole thread. Skipping meals caught up with me fast too, so I made eating earlier non-negotiable even when appetite says otherwise. Threads like this are honestly the part of the week I look forward to.

17 down here and still early enough that I forget lunch exists some days, so reading that the slump fades if you eat earlier is good to know. Hoping I'm ahead of the curve by treating it as non-negotiable now instead of learning the hard way.17 lbs in myself and the skipping-lunch trap already got me once last week, so hearing it keeps fading for you is reassuring. I've been forcing an early bite even with zero appetite and it seems to soften the crash. This check-in being a weekly anchor is real, same here.
