Checking in from overseas this morning, and I keep noticing how different the food culture is here compared to what I read about from US folks on these meds. Down 51 lbs now and honestly the smaller appetite has made restaurant portions abroad feel almost normal sized for once. Curious where everyone else is posting from and how your week is going.
International members - todays hello thread
Posting from the UK and yeah, portion sizes here always felt reasonable even before the meds, so eating out is way less of a mental battle now. Congrats on the 51, I'm at 70 down and still find myself shocked when a normal restaurant plate actually fills me up. Week's going fine, just the usual mild appetite dip after my shot day.
Checking in from the UK, and 69 lbs down I've had the same shift - pub meals here now feel almost oversized, which would have sounded impossible a year ago. Nice having a corner of the forum where normal plates are the baseline.
Posting from Germany and the portion thing is so real here too - a normal restaurant meal actually feels like a full dinner now instead of a snack. 31 lbs down for me and eating out abroad finally feels relaxed instead of like a test of willpower. Good week here, appetite pretty steady between shots.
Checking in from Canada, about 30 lbs down myself. What's wild for me is eating out in the US and realizing I finally understand the portion complaints people there always had - those plates used to seem normal to me. Week's been good, no complaints on the appetite front.
Posting from Australia here and same experience - cafe meals that used to seem light now leave me comfortably full at 45 lbs down. Eating out stopped feeling like a negotiation with myself, which I didn't expect as a side benefit. Week's been quiet and steady on the appetite front.
