Shot week is the only time I plan a lighter day on purpose, and it's stopped me from feeling like a failure when the energy dips. Getting out before the slump sets in like you did is half the battle for me too.
Your journey
Low energy today, how are you still moving?
Down 42 here and shot week is when I quit scheduling anything that feels like a workout, just walks with the dog and call it done. Weirdly the low-pressure days sometimes turn into my longest ones once I'm out the door.
Down 16 myself and the pre-shot drag hits me too, so I've stopped expecting much on those days. A short walk early like you did is usually all I manage, and honestly it still counts.
Down almost 50 here and shot week is the same story for me, I just aim for the door instead of a number. Some of those low-expectation mornings turned into my best walks once I stopped pressuring myself.
