Fellow Aussie here, only a couple of kilos down so far but even that early my knees feel less cranky on the site. The weight loss angle the other tradies mentioned tracks with my experience so far. No sourcing leads from me either, but your son will keep you right.
[Australia/NZ] HGH
Another tradie vote for the weight angle - I'm down 32 lbs and my back pain on the tools has eased way more than I expected. Can't help with sourcing, but sticking around here you'll learn a lot from the locals.
Brickie to brickie, I reckon the jab's been the real fix for me - 48 lbs gone and my shoulders and knees barely grumble on the trowel these days. Worth sorting that before spending big on peptides, in my experience anyway.
No help on sourcing from my end (over in the States anyway), but same story here - I'm mid-50s, been on semaglutide about five months and down 21 lbs, and my knees ache way less just from not hauling the extra weight around. Might be worth letting that play out before dropping money on peptides.
Another mid-50s tradie here and same experience - I've dropped 58 lbs on the jab and the back pain that used to wreck my work week has mostly cleared up on its own. I'd let the weight loss keep doing its thing before fiddling with peptides.
Another bloke here who found the jab alone sorted most of my aches - down 25 lbs and the daily back twinge is basically gone. As a brickie you'd probably notice the difference just from less load on the frame, so maybe give that time before spending on peptides.
Fitting another mid-50s worker story in here - 29 lbs gone since starting the jab and the shoulder twinge that used to wake me up has basically packed off. Carrying a hod all day feels a different beast at this weight, so I'd let that keep working before chasing peptides.
Welcome, you picked a great time to start this. Wishing you an easy week ahead. Worth running past your own prescriber first.
Thanks for starting this, super useful to compare notes. Useful thread, saving this to reference later.
