For anyone considering the switch from semaglutide to tirzepatide: I made that switch at month 6 and the difference in appetite suppression is noticeable. I went from thinking about food constantly (even on sema) to genuinely not being interested. The dual GIP/GLP-1 mechanism really does seem to add something.

My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. Found my sweet spot dose and I'm not in a hurry to go higher. So glad I'm not alone in this. Everyone's different of course.

Fatigue hit hard on my first dose bump, more protein fixed it. Cutting fatty meals the day of my shot helped the nausea. How long did the food noise take to quiet down. Onward!

Reading this and How long did the food noise take to quiet down. Fatigue hit hard on my first dose bump, more protein fixed it. Rooting for you. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. My doctor had me hold steady until side effects settled. How are you finding the higher dose so far. You've got this.

The protein-first approach is the single best nutrition change I made. Before any carbs or fats, get your protein in. It works synergistically with the medication to preserve muscle while you're in a deficit.

Reading this and Did you split your dose or take it all at once. My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. So glad I'm not alone in this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
