For anyone considering the switch from semaglutide to tirzepatide: I made that switch at month 6 and the difference in appetite suppression is noticeable. I went from thinking about food constantly (even on sema) to genuinely not being interested. The dual GIP/GLP-1 mechanism really does seem to add something.

Reading this and Consistency with my injection day mattered more than the exact dose. Bumped up to the next dose this week and feeling good. This community is the best.

I've been at 10mg tirzepatide for three months now and I can honestly say it's the most powerful appetite suppression I've experienced. I'm not hungry in the mornings at all and sometimes have to remind myself to eat lunch. The GIP component really does seem to add something beyond what semaglutide did for me. Zero complaints at this dose.

Late to this but The mental side is harder than people admit. I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. The mental side is harder than people admit.

Coming back to this thread, A1C came back normal at my last check-up. How are you finding the higher dose so far. Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. Hang in there. Everyone's different of course.

We're all in this together. Did the nausea ease up after the first few weeks for you. Meal-prepping kept me from grazing on bad days. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. Rooting for you. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Totally agree. Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. Consistency with my injection day mattered more than the exact dose. You've got this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Honestly, Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. Consistency with my injection day mattered more than the exact dose. My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled.
