Starting my journey log here. Current weight: 247 lbs. Goal: 175 lbs. Starting Ozempic 0.25mg this week. I've tried everything else over the past decade and I'm finally taking this step. Going to document everything honestly — the good and the bad.

For what it's worth, Don't weigh daily, the trend line is what matters. I split my routine around the shot day now and it helps. Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

I switched from Ozempic to Wegovy at month 4 and the main difference I noticed was the auto-injector. The pen is just much easier to use and I felt more confident with the dose delivery. Loss-wise I didn't see a dramatic change since it's the same molecule, but psychologically having a 'weight management' drug vs a 'diabetes' drug helped me stay committed. Cost-wise it evened out with my savings card.

Same here, I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. How's your energy been lately. So glad I'm not alone in this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Totally agree. I keep a food + weight log to spot the trends, not the daily noise. Found my sweet spot dose and I'm not in a hurry to go higher. Keep us posted! Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Adding my two cents: The jump to the next dose was smoother than I feared. How's your energy been lately. Thanks for sharing this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Adding my two cents: Titrating slowly is so underrated, no rush to climb. I keep a food and weight log to spot the trends, not the daily noise. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. Thanks for sharing this. Everyone's different of course.
