For anyone considering the switch from semaglutide to tirzepatide: I made that switch at month 6 and the difference in appetite suppression is noticeable. I went from thinking about food constantly (even on sema) to genuinely not being interested. The dual GIP/GLP-1 mechanism really does seem to add something.

Adding my two cents: Down 3 lbs since my last shot, slow and steady. I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. Clothes are loose enough that I need a smaller size. Thanks for sharing this.

Reading this and Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. Thanks for sharing this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Week 12 checking in — yes, the hair loss is real but it does slow down. Biotin helped me.

The mental side is harder than people admit. Maintenance for three months now and holding. Onward! Everyone's different of course.

@ScaleWatcher same thing happened to me. The stall broke after I added more protein.

Seconding the hydration advice. I drink at least 80oz a day and it makes a huge difference.

I hit a 6-week stall and thought the medication had stopped working. It hadn't. The body sometimes needs time to catch up with the fat loss. Measurements changed even when the scale didn't.

Starting the weight-loss log here because I need accountability. Starting weight: 278 lbs. Goal: 195 lbs. Week 1 on 0.25mg semaglutide. No real side effects yet, just a slightly off stomach on injection day. Will update every Monday.

I keep a protein shake on my desk for days when nothing sounds good. It helps.

Same here, Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. Stay the course. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

My doctor kept me at 0.5mg for 10 weeks. Slower titration, fewer side effects — worth it.

Totally agree. Sending good vibes your way. Everyone titrates differently, listen to your own body. I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. This community is the best. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.
