The hair loss started around week 9 for me and I panicked. After research and talking to my doctor, it's telogen effluvium — a delayed shed caused by the physiological stress of rapid weight loss, not the medication itself. It slows down around month 4-5. Biotin and collagen peptides haven't hurt. Just wanted to share this so the next person isn't as scared as I was.

Coming back to this thread, Don't weigh daily, the trend line is what matters. Don't give up, it's worth it. How are you finding the higher dose so far. Everyone's different of course.

I switched from Ozempic to Wegovy at month 4 and the main difference I noticed was the auto-injector. The pen is just much easier to use and I felt more confident with the dose delivery. Loss-wise I didn't see a dramatic change since it's the same molecule, but psychologically having a 'weight management' drug vs a 'diabetes' drug helped me stay committed. Cost-wise it evened out with my savings card.

For what it's worth, What's your current titration schedule looking like. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. Onward!

Adding my two cents: Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. Such an inspiration honestly. Onward!

Keep going, seriously. My doctor had me hold steady until side effects settled.

Adding my two cents: Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. Maintenance for three months now and holding. Rooting for you.

Don't give up, it's worth it. Down another 1.8 lbs this week and holding steady. How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. Everyone's different of course.

Down 55 lbs over the last year on this journey. Scale didn't move but my rings fit again. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Coming back to this thread — The mental side is harder than people admit. Found my sweet spot dose and I'm not in a hurry to go higher. I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. Thanks for sharing this.

Totally agree. Look how far you've come. Did you split your dose or take it all at once. You've got this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Same here — Lost 8 lbs my first month and the food noise is gone. Finally cracked a plateau I'd been stuck on for a month. That stall messed with my head too, you'll break through. So glad I'm not alone in this.
