I'm a nurse and I want to share a clinical perspective on the GI side effects. What's happening in your gut during the first few weeks is the medication slowing gastric emptying significantly. This is by design — it's the mechanism that creates satiety. The nausea is your body adjusting to this new normal. It gets better as your body adapts.

The sulfur burps almost made me quit, slowing down eating helped. Smaller portions on shot day kept the GI stuff manageable. Thanks for sharing this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Reading this and Honestly by month three the side effects basically disappeared. Hydration made a bigger difference than I expected. How long did the food noise take to quiet down. Thanks for sharing this. Everyone's different of course.

Same here, Ginger tea and tiny meals saved me through the early weeks. The week-1 nausea was rough but it really does ease up. Keep us posted! Everyone's different of course.
