I'm a nurse and I want to share a clinical perspective on the GI side effects. What's happening in your gut during the first few weeks is the medication slowing gastric emptying significantly. This is by design — it's the mechanism that creates satiety. The nausea is your body adjusting to this new normal. It gets better as your body adapts.

Coming back to this thread, Scale didn't move but my rings fit again. Talk to your prescriber before changing anything, but slow worked for me. So glad I'm not alone in this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Reading this and What's your current titration schedule looking like. Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. This community is the best. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

That stall messed with my head too, you'll break through. How are you finding the higher dose so far. I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. Onward!

Adding my two cents: Sending solidarity, this part is genuinely hard. Ugh I felt exactly the same way at that stage. Thanks for sharing this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Just wanted to say, Titrating slowly is so underrated, no rush to climb. The mental side is harder than people admit. Finally cracked a plateau I'd been stuck on for a month. So glad I'm not alone in this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Reading this and Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. Talk to your prescriber before changing anything, but slow worked for me. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Reading this and How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. Clothes are loose enough that I need a smaller size. Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. Hang in there. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
