Starting my journey log here. Current weight: 247 lbs. Goal: 175 lbs. Starting Ozempic 0.25mg this week. I've tried everything else over the past decade and I'm finally taking this step. Going to document everything honestly — the good and the bad.

Just wanted to say, This is huge. I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. Everyone's different of course.

Same here — Did you split your dose or take it all at once. Hang in there. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule.

Coming back to this thread — Blood pressure is finally in normal range. Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. This community is the best. Everyone's different of course.

Late to this but Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. Down 55 lbs over the last year on this journey. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Late to this but Walking 8k steps a day alongside the meds really compounds. I keep a food and weight log to spot the trends, not the daily noise. Everyone's different of course.

For what it's worth, Keep going, seriously. Found my sweet spot dose and I'm not in a hurry to go higher. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Don't weigh daily, the trend line is what matters. Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. Sending solidarity, this part is genuinely hard.

Totally agree. I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. Ginger tea and tiny meals saved me through the early weeks.
