I'm a nurse and I want to share a clinical perspective on the GI side effects. What's happening in your gut during the first few weeks is the medication slowing gastric emptying significantly. This is by design — it's the mechanism that creates satiety. The nausea is your body adjusting to this new normal. It gets better as your body adapts.

My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. Did the nausea ease up after the first few weeks for you. Rooting for you. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Honestly, Did the nausea ease up after the first few weeks for you. I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. Been there — it does get easier I promise. Rooting for you. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Late to this but I split my routine around the shot day now and it helps. Everyone titrates differently, listen to your own body. Hang in there. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
