The hair loss started around week 9 for me and I panicked. After research and talking to my doctor, it's telogen effluvium — a delayed shed caused by the physiological stress of rapid weight loss, not the medication itself. It slows down around month 4-5. Biotin and collagen peptides haven't hurt. Just wanted to share this so the next person isn't as scared as I was.

Reading this and Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. Walking 8k steps a day alongside the meds really compounds. Stay the course. Thanks for sharing this.

Late to this but My doctor had me hold at 7.5 until side effects settled. Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. Keep us posted! (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Same here, How are you finding the higher dose so far. My doctor had me hold steady until side effects settled. Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. Keep us posted!

Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Adding my two cents: Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. Bumped up to the next dose this week and feeling good. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.
