For anyone considering the switch from semaglutide to tirzepatide: I made that switch at month 6 and the difference in appetite suppression is noticeable. I went from thinking about food constantly (even on sema) to genuinely not being interested. The dual GIP/GLP-1 mechanism really does seem to add something.

Going slow on titration made all the difference for side effects. How are you finding the higher dose so far. So glad I'm not alone in this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Late to this but Did you split your dose or take it all at once. Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. The jump to the next dose was smoother than I feared. Hang in there.

Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Coming back to this thread — How long did the food noise take to quiet down. I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. So glad I'm not alone in this.

Totally agree. Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. Meal-prepping kept me from grazing on bad days. How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. You've got this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.
