Does anyone in the group or any epileptics know if epilyspy meds and peptides can be used together. Whether ozempic, mounjaro, reta etc

Thank you

I've heard that some epilepsy meds can interact with GLP-1s like Ozempic, so I'd double-check with your neurologist before adding one. Better safe than sorry.

I take an anti-seizure med alongside my tirzepatide and haven't noticed any weird interactions over the past few months, and it hasn't slowed my progress either (down 22 lbs). Seizure meds vary a lot though, so your pharmacist is a good quick check too.

I'm on lamotrigine with semaglutide and it's been fine for me, no seizure issues and the weight loss has been steady. These meds all behave differently though, so a quick call to your pharmacist is what I'd do before starting.

Also on tirzepatide here with no seizure history, so take it for what it's worth, but I delayed starting until my pharmacist cleared it against my other meds -- took five minutes and gave me real peace of mind. Worth doing since these anti-seizure drugs all interact so differently.
