My A1C journey: diagnosed T2D 3 years ago at 8.2. Started Ozempic primarily for diabetes management 10 months ago. Current A1C: 5.6. My endocrinologist says I'm no longer diabetic by definition. I've also lost 62 lbs. This medication has genuinely changed my life trajectory.

The protein-first approach is the single best nutrition change I made. Before any carbs or fats, get your protein in. It works synergistically with the medication to preserve muscle while you're in a deficit.

Coming back to this thread — The mental side is harder than people admit. That stall messed with my head too, you'll break through. Thanks for sharing this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Coming back to this thread — Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. Keep going, seriously. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Reading this and Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. Six months in and the scale keeps moving the right way. Sending solidarity, this part is genuinely hard. Rooting for you.

For what it's worth, I keep a food + weight log to spot the trends, not the daily noise. Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. Rooting for you. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Just wanted to say, How are you handling the injection-day fatigue. How are you finding the higher dose so far. Batch-cooking high-protein meals saved my willpower. So glad I'm not alone in this. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
