I've been doing a weekly log in this thread and several people have asked me to keep going so here's month 3 update: down 31 lbs from 278 to 247. Lost about 3-4 lbs per month after the fast initial drop. Stalled for 2 weeks at month 2.5 and it broke on its own. Energy is better. Sleep is better. Still on 0.5mg and my doctor wants to see me stay here another month.

Coming back to this thread — Plateaus are the worst, hang in there. Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Hang in there. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

You're doing amazing. How's your energy been lately. Talk to your prescriber before changing anything, but slow worked for me. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Coming back to this thread, Protein first at every meal has been my golden rule. I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. Ugh I felt exactly the same way at that stage. Everyone's different of course.

I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. How are you finding the higher dose so far. Titrating slowly is so underrated, no rush to climb. Rooting for you. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Adding my two cents: Did you split your dose or take it all at once. Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. So glad I'm not alone in this. Everyone's different of course.

The mental shift is real and nobody talks about it enough. By month 3 I stopped thinking about food constantly. I'd walk past a donut shop and feel nothing. That's not willpower — that's the medication working on a neurological level. I genuinely feel like a different person and it's still a bit surreal.
