I'm a nurse and I want to share a clinical perspective on the GI side effects. What's happening in your gut during the first few weeks is the medication slowing gastric emptying significantly. This is by design — it's the mechanism that creates satiety. The nausea is your body adjusting to this new normal. It gets better as your body adapts.

Coming back to this thread, Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. You're not alone in this, so many of us have been there. Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. So glad I'm not alone in this. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

How long did the food noise take to quiet down. Consistency with my injection day mattered more than the exact dose. Rooting for you. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Totally agree. Just hit my first 20 lbs and I can't believe it. I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.
