Fitness update at month 8: started doing resistance training at month 3 after losing significant muscle mass in the early months. Since adding lifting 3x/week, my rate of fat loss has actually increased while I've gained visible muscle definition. The combination is powerful.

My pharmacist suggested splitting the dose in half for the first 4 weeks. Life-changing.

Totally agree. Titrating slowly is so underrated, no rush to climb. The jump to the next dose was smoother than I feared.

Sending good vibes your way. Found my sweet spot dose and I'm not in a hurry to go higher. Hang in there.

Same here — Sending solidarity, this part is genuinely hard. Did you split your dose or take it all at once. Onward!

Just wanted to say, I plateaued until the dose increase kicked things back in gear. My doctor had me hold steady until side effects settled. Hang in there. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)

Anyone who says GLP-1 is 'the easy way' has never dealt with week 3 nausea.

Coming back to this thread — Strength training helped me keep muscle while losing. Clothes are loose enough that I need a smaller size. You've got this. Everyone's different of course.

Electrolytes every morning has been a game changer. The mental side is harder than people admit. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Honestly, That stall messed with my head too, you'll break through. Walking 8k steps a day alongside the meds really compounds. You've got this.

Reading this and What's your current titration schedule looking like. The mental side is harder than people admit.

I keep a protein shake on my desk for days when nothing sounds good. It helps.

Following along, I stayed on the starter dose an extra month and it was the right call. What's your current titration schedule looking like. Keep us posted!

Coming back to this thread, What helped you push through the plateau. Are you pairing it with any walking or strength work. Hang in there. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

Talk to your prescriber before changing anything, but slow worked for me. Everyone's different of course.

Coming back to this thread — Finally cracked a plateau I'd been stuck on for a month. Look how far you've come. Hang in there. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.

For what it's worth, Did your appetite come back at all on the higher dose. Walking 8k steps a day alongside the meds really compounds. (Not medical advice, just my own experience.)
