Brisbane here, same deal with my chemist holding one back each month, and my GP also said not to expect PBS news anytime soon. Down 68 lbs so far and I'm not keen on testing my luck either. Might be worth asking your local if they'll do the same hold arrangement.

Adelaide checking in, my chemist started doing the set-aside thing a few months back and it's saved me at least twice when stock vanished. 81 lbs down here and like the Brisbane poster said, I'm not risking a gap to find out what happens. The PBS wait sounds like it could drag on well past any of us being patient.
Comparing notes like this helps more than people realize. Glad this got its own thread, it comes up constantly. Proud of you for sharing.
