[US] Meetups or local groups in the US?

Des Moines here, only a few lbs down so far, but this thread is pushing me to try a roll call for the downtown area. Saturday coffee sounds doable even at my early stage, and hearing three people actually showed up in Phoenix gives me hope.

Got off one of my blood pressure meds. Tied my shoes without it being a whole production. Hugged someone and felt my arms actually reach all the way around.
