[Europe] Germany/France pharmacy experiences

Same in France, small town pharmacy keeps stock without any calling ahead, and the per-pen price I pay is low enough that driving to Germany would never pay off once you count fuel and the half day lost. If you're EU-based, asking a local pharmacy to check availability directly has worked better for me than hunting border towns.

US-based here so no EU pharmacy tips, but the fuel-and-time math the French folks mention tracks with what I see stateside too. Down 29 lbs on Ozempic at the 2mg level, and having a reliable local supply has mattered more to my consistency than any price difference would.

Germany here, and my experience is the opposite of the French posters - my local pharmacy often has to order in, so I build in a week of lead time before running out. Even with that hassle, once I did the fuel-plus-day-trip math for France it never came out cheaper. Down 42 lbs and the routine of a steady local supply has honestly been worth more than chasing a few euros.
