Question for the community: has anyone successfully maintained for more than a year after reaching goal? I'm 3 months into maintenance and terrified of regain. Would love to hear from people who've been through this.

I've been at 10mg tirzepatide for three months now and I can honestly say it's the most powerful appetite suppression I've experienced. I'm not hungry in the mornings at all and sometimes have to remind myself to eat lunch. The GIP component really does seem to add something beyond what semaglutide did for me. Zero complaints at this dose.

Insurance tip: document everything. Every phone call, every denial letter, every appeal. Having a paper trail when you get to the peer-to-peer review stage is critical. Your doctor can reference specific dates and denial reasons.

My titration schedule ended up being much slower than the official guide. 0.25mg for 8 weeks, then 0.5mg for 8 more weeks. My doctor is conservative but the results have been steady and the side effects manageable. There's no prize for going faster.

Same here — Been there — it does get easier I promise. I plan my meals around shot-day appetite changes now. Definitely run it by your own prescriber though.
